That’s it! It’s over! This is the end & it’s tough. Before I started my little journey one year ago I was scared and excited about my 12 month abroad and now I’m even more scared to go home. No one told me how hard it would be. I’m looking forward to see all my friends, but to be honest: 6 weeks in Germany would be enough. This world is so big and there is so much more to see & discover. I had the best time of life. Everything was much better than expected, I met incredible people & I found wonderful new friends. I would like to meet all of you again and I know this might be tricky; but our planet is small & maybe we will all see each other again somewhere in an Airport, a Train- or in a Bus- Station. I’m grateful for all my experiences, the good & the bad ones and I learned a lot about myself and the world. Traveling is not only fun, it can be hard & exhausting but in the end everything turns out very well. That’s the reason why there is only one sentence left to end this Blog entry: THIS IS NOT THE END! +++You won’t find new photos online this time; I uploaded my favorite pictures of the last 12 month+++

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said „You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.“ She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
