MALAYSIA/ASIA
The title of my new blog entry is a little bit misleading. Malaysia is everything, but it’s definitely not a “Green Hell”. It’s a beautiful country with wonderful people. We have so many prejudices in Europe about Moslems and their religion, but everything is wrong. The people are friendly, educated and honest! Nobody tried to kill me and Jihad seems to be far away. Not everything is perfect in Malaysia, but is everything perfect in Germany? No, I don’t think so! This is the first country where I could seriously live and work. I love Kuala Lumpur – it’s a little bit like a warm Hamburg with friendly people. There was one thing that really surprised me, Malaysia is well developed and everybody speaks perfect English, but traveling can be tough. It’s not as difficult as Birma, but it’s surprisingly confusing if you leave the “normal” tourist path.
I saw so many countries in the last 6 month and I’m starting to feel, that it’s time to move on. I still don’t know where I end up, but I really have to move on. I need a new surrounding, new people, new beer brands and new adventures. Time will tell!
